What services do you offer?
I offer full home decorating, multiple room decorating, single room decorating, consulting and sourcing.
What is the difference between an interior decorator and an interior designer?
An interior decorator (that's me!) deals with the aesthetics of a space. That includes things like furnishings, color, texture, light and styling to make your existing space look and feel great. If you need someone who can deal with structural architecture, code compliance and major renovations, plus aesthetics and furnishings, you're looking for an interior designer and I'm happy to recommend some great ones!
What is sourcing?
Say for example you want a new rug for your living room, but you're overwhelmed by all the options. I can advise you on material and size and then share several options within your budget. I can even order and coordinate delivery. Other types of items I could help your source include furniture, lights, mirrors and art. I prefer to source antique, vintage or high quality brands.
Do you offer remote services/e-design?
Some sourcing and consultations can be done remotely. Interior decorating and color consultations are best done with site visits, so that I can fully understand your space and its potential. Feel free to reach out and ask if your project has the potential to be remote.
What is it like to work with you?
From the day you have your consultation call to the day your project is completely finished, you'll have a clear sense of the steps of the process, what we've done, what comes next and an open line to reach me. I believe a tidy and elegant organizational system allows everyone to relax and enjoy the process, and creates space for creativity.
